Krishna Raj Kapoor, the dowager of the fantastic Bollywood performer Raj Kapoor, passed away on Monday, reported The Indian Express. She was 87.
Krishna Raj Kapoor, who wedded Raj Kapoor in May 1946, is made due by her children Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and girls Ritu Nanda and Rima Kapoor-Jain.
“My mom passed away at around 5 am today because of heart failure… seniority was another factor. Her end profoundly disheartens us,” child Randhir revealed to Press Trust of India not long after her downfall.
Her granddaughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a return picture on Instagram, and expressed, “I cherish you-I will dependably adore you – RIP dad
Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor is not currently in the country as he left for the US just last week for medical treatment.
The film industry took to Twitter to express sorrow over his mother’s demise.
Aamir Khan took to Twitter to express condolences and wrote, “If Raj Kapoor was an institution in film making, Krishnaji was an institution in living life. A very sad loss to all of us.”

Veteran on-screen character Anupam Kher tweeted, “Profoundly disheartened to find out about the miserable destruction of Krishna Raj Kapoorji. She was a standout amongst the most honorable and warm women that I met. May her spirit rest in peace. My sympathies to the whole Kapoor and Nanda family.”
